I have been designing
necklaces for over a decade. While living in England
for many years, I traveled throughout Europe and collected
beads from Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Venice, Madrid and
Lisbon, as well as from London. I have a vast range
of beads of every color and hue and I delight in creating
custom designs to a client's specifications.
I also specialize in
turning family treasures - necklaces, brooches and earrings
of sentimental value that are simply too damaged or
too outdated to wear - into up-to-the-minute styles
that can be worn once again. There are so many beautiful
jewels lying dormant in drawers that can be combined
into a glorious creation and see the light of day once
more! Please contact me with any requests for "remakes"
of redundant jewelry.
All my necklaces are
styled from mostly, if not all, vintage components.
Prices range from $150 to $400. A detailed list of notable
components is provided with each necklace sold. The
necklaces are all signed "Laurel Clark".
Many of the necklaces
are adjustable, through having extending hook clasps.
Therefore, some can be worn as Chokers as well, although
they are listed as 'Necklaces'. Please contact me with
any queries. Others can be shortened or lengthened within
reason at an extra charge of $20 .
Earrings can be custom
made to the specification of the client (clip/ pierced/
static/ dangling/ simple/ ornate). Several examples
are shown on the "Earrings" page. More earrings,
and finger rings as well, are soon to be added.
